Use cases

Use case - The Hague

Risk-assessment, prediction and forecasting during events

In the EMERALDS project, Argaleo and the Technical University of Delft are working closely with the municipality of The Hague to design a risk assessment, prediction and forecasting system to support decision-making.
Use case - Rotterdam

Multi-modal integrated traffic management

In the EMERALDS project, Rotterdam is one of the pilot cities. ARANE is working on multi-modal traffic operations in the metropolitan area of this city and focuses on enabling extreme data-driven methods for predictions and the required network analysis to determine decentralisation opportunities.
Use case - Riga

Trip Characteristics Inference and Traffic Flow Data Analytics

In the EMERALDS project, Riga (Latvia) is one of the pilot cities. The aim was to optimise the transport network and its efficiency, making public transport more attractive to the user, forecasting future demand, using real-time data analytics of travel behaviour.
