Together with the DataNexus Cluster of project in Brussels, EMERALDS will be part of the Future-Ready event, organised by Adra the AI Data Robotics Association and AI on Demand, and supported by AI4EUROPE and Adra-e.
About the event
Rapid advances in AI, data and robotics have created significant opportunities and challenges. Horizon Europe has funded numerous projects aimed at addressing these challenges and leveraging these opportunities to drive scientific excellence, industrial competitiveness and societal impact. It is essential that the results of these efforts are taken up by the relevant stakeholder communities active in the AI, Data, and Robotics (ADR) partnership.
This event is bringing together ADR partnership projects from 2022 and 2023, organised by their respective call topics, to showcase cutting-edge results, discuss key challenges, and unlock opportunities for collaboration. Special focus will be placed on engaging with Adra Topic Groups, where diverse stakeholders unite to drive forward shared goals, and the AI-on-Demand (AIoD) platform, a community-driven initiative supporting knowledge sharing and services for the AI community.
The concrete objectives of the event are to:
- Disseminate project results and foster synergies with other projects, as well as with existing or potential new Topic Groups.
- Consolidate and sustain the expertise and know-how developed within projects through ongoing engagement in Topic Groups.
- Identify emerging challenges to inform the next iteration of the SRIDA and future project rounds.
- In collaboration with AI4Europe, engage projects on the AIoD platform through initiatives like code labs, hands-on sessions, and more.
Who should participate?
- Horizon Europe (HE) project teams funded through partnerships, including project coordinators, researchers, engineers, and individuals involved in roadmap development, project synergies, or policy recommendations.
- ADRA Topic Group members, including all Topic Group coordinators and potential new members of specific Topic Groups.
- European Commission (EC) project officers overseeing ADR projects, as well as policy officers.
- Newly launched HE projects teams looking to engage with the ecosystem.

Together with the DataNexus Cluster, the project is organising the workshop:
From Extreme Data to AI Insights:
The DataNEXUS Approach Across the Compute Continuum
Bringing together projects such as EXTRACT, Graph-Massivizer, NEARDATA and SYCLOPS, this collaboration harnesses cutting-edge research to address challenges like computational limitations, real-time decision-making, sustainability, energy efficiency and seamless operations across distributed computing environments.
In this session, DATANEXUS cluster projects will share insights, technical breakthroughs and the ongoing challenges faced in processing extreme data across the compute continuum.
